gamamaru not mentioning Aino at all in his retelling of events even though the magic all seeing crystal ball hes looking at literally SHOWS Kaguya's breaking point being Aino's death……Homophobic frog.
Hagoromo and Hamura meet Gamamaru.
i think its so cool the way they decided to include gamamaru the great toad sage in the flashbacks with hagoromo .. do not remember if it's just all fillers? but i think its so fitting. hagoromo on his journey across the world meets him when he's still a normal-sized little toad and him and hamura have to laugh cuz they think its so funny that he can speak. and then thousands of years later he's still alive and resides on mount myoboku and he is super old and senile. but he tells naruto that he is the child of prophecy .. which seems to connect to how hagoromo at some point also talks abt a child of prophecy that will unite the bijuus and play with them as if they are pets :) maybe hagoromo told him abt that. and thousands of years later gamamaru still remembers but he's so senile at this point that he isnt quite sure whether it was a dream or a memory from thousands and thousands of years ago ..
what a first meeting
For @naruto-fantasy-week Day 2: Mythical | Monstrous
Hi, I want to say that I really like your blog and the way you analyse Naruto. Besides, I really like your answer to the anti konoha anon about Naruto. It's refreshing to see people that make an efford to understand the characters. However, it's funny how this anti konoha/anti Naruto people talk about Naruto forced Neji and Sasuke to change their mind. Like I think this people are talking about Naruto vs Neji fight in chunnin exams where Neji literally said to Naruto that if you born like scum you have to accept your fate like this people don't understand that their fight was about two diferent points of view for Neji you couldn't make your own fate because you born with one. Naruto couldn't agree with this because he was the dead last, he was scum all his life if he believes in Neji's words this means that he doesn't have hopes. Of course, people use Naruto words and say that he lied to Neji because in the end he had a destiny like Naruto didn't know anything about the prophecy and Indra and Ashura.
Thanks, anon. I would say that fate is a difficult topic for the world of "Naruto". Neji's death was bad because it was useless for the plot. Neji had a goal, development, he was a good character who did not need to die. But Neji's death was not bad because he died for Hinata. He died because he decided to. It could be said that his destiny is to hate the main branch of the Hyuga clan, but he died for someone from the main branch because he wanted to. Just like his father once did. Because he didn't hate her. Can we say that he went against destiny? In this case, fate is not fate in the usual sense of the word, but the current circumstances that have people hating the main branch of the clan. And Naruto said that Neji can choose another path. I would say that this is one kind of fate. Circumstances. The other is Ashura and Indra. It's different, but there's no problem with that. Everything that reincarnations do, they do for a reason, and not just because they are reincarnations. They become great because they are such people, because they are reincarnations. But is there a problem with this? They are just such ambitious and strong people. Yes, this is the purpose. But can "fate" force reincarnations to do what they don't want /force them not to do something? No. They can change something in their path. But the circumstances are such that usually everything goes in the same circle. And about the fact that "in the first part they talked about losers and geniuses!!" I have already written. This manga is not about that, that's all. Since this manga is about what influences people more - power or love - the main characters need to decide the fate of the world and test these ideologies in practice. And the theme of reincarnations is great for demonstrating this. (Yes, I'm complaining again that Naruto fandom pays attention to the first part, and not to the main one). There is a third type. Reincarnations meet each other for a reason. Gamamaru predicts for a reason. There is a thing that can, as it were, know the future or interfere in the course of events. And this is really fate in the main sense of the word. And this does not apply to the situation with Neji. These are different things. But even here nothing happens just like that. Everything happens for a reason. It is unknown how this fate works. I had a few theories, but we won't know the truth. Although in fact, Kishimoto likes the theme of destiny. This can be seen from the mentions of this in "Naruto" and in "Samurai 8". So I would say that these are all just different things. And yes, that's right, Naruto could not agree with Neji, because otherwise it turns out that the loser will always remain a loser. But this is not the case. And here we are not talking about Naruto specifically. The fact that he is the reincarnation of Ashura does not mean that other losers will remain the same losers if they were "born" losers. They can change this without being reincarnations of someone and without having a "third type" of fate. It's just not about Naruto (he meant himself, but he didn't know anything), but in general about people. So where is the lie here? And I will add that the words about hard work and genius in this context are also not empty words. Kishimoto worked hard to become a mangaka. And you can see how his drawing changed not only in style, but in general for the better. So this is true and it does not matter that this does not apply specifically to Naruto Uzumaki. This applies to others. Naruto, as a character, has a different purpose.
