The Story behind Thursday’s Quote of the Day

I know I said I’d post this Thursday evening, but I got busy so sue me.

A little background:

One of the traditional pass times on Thursdays among my group of friends is a universal manga read. And the series of choice is One Piece. The read is typically followed by a round of theorizing that usually lasts for about an hour and a half, but has been known to last longer depending upon the chapters content or how excited we are.

The Story:

Thursday was not any different, but it went into patent absurdity even by our standards. One of us was floating the possibility of Momonsuke going with Luffy and the other Curly Hats to get Sanji back and I said: "Are you kidding, she would eat him." Another one of us died of laughter, comparing Momo to an M&M. This, in turn, led to us floating the theory that Big Mom has a Majin Buu-esque Devil Fruit power that lets her turn people into food and eat them. Somehow Gekko Moriah entered the equation regarding him possibly throwing down with Kaido, our mutual hatred of Moriah is in part what prompted me to opine "And have Big Mom eat him too." by means of turning him into some form of freakish bat-shaped cookie.

So now we plan to feed every character we don't like to Big Mom. and "And have Big Mom eat him too" is kind of a meme in our One Piece circle now.

And that is the story.
