Summary:

Shane’s eyes snap open. Wait a second. “Ilya,” Shane says, propping himself up on his elbows. “Ilya, wake up.” Ilya makes a pained nose, eyes still shut. “I shut curtains already.” “It’s not that. Ilya, hey. Don’t go back to sleep.” Ilya tries to bury back into Shane’s chest, but adrenaline knifes through Shane’s hangover long enough for him to peel Ilya off and roll him into his back. Ilya blinks blearily up at him, starfished in the sheets. Beautiful and naked and missing his mother’s cross.

OR: When Ilya’s cross goes missing after the Centaurs celebrate their first Stanley Cup win, Shane is determined to get it back. And so are the Centaurs. And the rest of Ottawa.

Some TV changes from “The Last of Us” that I thought were an improvement on the game:

1) Changing Tommy’s gun from a revolver to a rifle. It’s a small change but by doing this, you’re subtly putting it in the audience’s head that Tommy is a sharpshooter, which is a major point of “The Last of Us II”.

2) The Fireflies kill Robert. It makes more sense in the game for Joel and Tess to kill him since that’s how the player gets used to combat. In the show, it works better for the story that Robert fought the Fireflies since there is a direct segway into Marlene being shot and a messy shootout might mess up the slow burn feel of the first episode.

3) Joel wants to reconnect with Tommy. It gives Joel more of a reason/motivation to transport Ellie and reinforces that family is the most important to Joel.

4) A crashing plane hits the Miller family’s truck. No deep reason, it just looked way more cinematic.

5) Tricking the audience that Sarah will be a main character by showing how she got Joel’s birthday gift. In the game, the player was tricked into thinking Sarah would be a main character by letting you play as her. You can’t do that in the show, so another way of achieving the same effect is by giving Sarah more screentime.

6) Ellie figures out the music codes. It’s another small change, but the show is subtly telling the audience that music will be important when it comes to Joel and Ellie’s relationship.

every thing is the same but Carbuncle is a permanent party member.

He likes to keep his eyes on the road but be close to Noctis, so he usually curls up around the driver’s shoulders

Ignis is immensely pleased by this

So is Carbuncle–he gets skritches aw yiss 

Carbuncle has to be careful with this if Noctis drives though, since if he sends him a warning Noctis will immediately look to his phone

Yes, he’s a mythical being. No, Carbuncle doesn’t like the rain

He will whine and demand to be carried under a jacket

As soon as Carbuncle joins the party, no matter what else is going on, the next 4 photo sets for the next 4 rests in-game will all be solid Carbuncle photo ops

Prompto isn’t sorry for this at all. Look at him! He’s so fluffy!

Gladio is the only one who keeps what Carbuncle actually is in mind

He is very respectful to Carbuncle, but does finally give in and allow himself to pet him

Carbuncle takes to riding on his shoulder on rough terrain. The Shield is the most stable-footed of the four

Ruby Light everywhere the second Noctis needs somebody to administer first aid in battle

A concept: a group text with Carbuncle

A sad concept: Carbuncle telepathically communicating with Ignis after he loses his sight

Guest party member? Cool, time for them to get vetted by this adorable blue creature

You’d think Iris would be the most taken, but nope

It’s Cor. Carbuncle is super soft to the touch

If the group splits up, obviously Carbuncle is wherever Noctis is

If Ardyn is around, Carbuncle cannot be seen (he goes invisible)

Nobody calls any attention to this during the game, it’s like…an Easter egg, almost. Like Bruce Willis never changing clothes in The Sixth Sense. 

During the end of the game, Carbuncle is in the Crystal with Noctis

And at the very end, he’s curled up with Umbra

Hi there! I saw your post 723704535146807296 about wanting to watch the show Game Changer but not knowing how. Apologies in advance if you were just joking or have already gotten 500 asks telling you this already, but Game Changes is one of many shows available on the website dropout.tv a streaming service run by the remnants of College Humor. You can sign up like with any streaming service. It costs money obviously but I love it. Game Changer is amazing as is Make Some Noise, I also like the D20 D&D series, Dirty Laundry, Um Actually, and Erotic Bookclub but there's heaps of great stuff on there, definitely worth it in my opinion. This episode is called Sam Says and there is a Sam Says 2 in later seasons. So so good.

Thank you! I wasn't aware of that, I like the few clips I have seen but haven't heard where to watch it. I was hoping for something local (am not a fan of streaming services), but I might sacrifice my dignity for this! It seems fun!

Bugfixes

– Epic Cards were not supposed to be requestable in the club and thus were deactivated.

– The “Railroad” Card sometimes took you to the wrong location on the board.

– Mr. Monopoly (Al) sometimes still received too much Money for playing cards.

– The “Battleship” Token skill didn’t work properly.

– Sometimes Tokens got stuck in front of the “Conveyor Belt” card.
