Game Script: Swift

Swift is a noncombative adventure/strategy game. A young shadow finds itself dissatisfied with its position as the shadow of a small plant, and begins daydreaming about being a shadow in a big, beautiful place. The shadow is pulled from its daydream by the sound of the grand, beautiful bell tower visible in the distance- the shadow realizes its new goal is to inhabit the shadow of the bell tower's spire, and then the game begins. The shadow travels from shadow to shadow, and can move freely in areas covered in shadow (under a table, in an alley etc.). You can only move into another shadow when it overlaps with the one you are currently in. The world is rendered brightly with bloom lighting, but the visual style is less realistic and feels almost 2-D, in the style of the Disney short Feast or the cel-shaded style of Wind Waker. The town and its architecture draw heavily from the well-known white and blue houses and buildings of the Greek Cycladic Islands.
