During my rdr2 playthrough, I wanted to visit all the graves as John, and I saved visiting Arthur’s for last. So when I finally got to Arthur’s grave, just chilled for a bit, crying of course. Eventually I go to leave and John is instantly attacked by a pack of wolves……

I like to imagine Arthur sent them as a prank. But it’s also fucking hilarious that John is just trying to have a nice moment at his brother’s grave, and when he’s about to leave he is mauled by wolves. Like wtf lol

I'm genuinely very appreciative of the detail on the condors in rdr2, I mean just look at them they are amazing!!

So glad to see Arthur was able to become a home owner.

During my playthrough of rdr2, in the house building cut scene, for some reason there was a blue jay just very persistently sitting on the boards. That bird literally never left, it was in almost every single shot of that cut scene.

And at the end when you pan up to look at the finished house, the blue jay was still there. But it was sitting on the railing and had acquired a friend. I like to think that was Arthur and Hosea checking in on John. Arthur is just a bird so he can shit on the roof.

Someone should really wreck my shit and write a oneshot angst fic of Albert Mason finding out about Arthur’s death. I’m imagining it written as journal entries by Albert, starts with him first meeting Arthur, and ends with him processing Arthur’s death.
