A few months ago I programmed a system to not load assets when they aren't being used in the scene. 

Today I discovered that all assets load RIGHT BEFORE they are told not to. 

That should be a nice performance boost.

Thinking of refining what the three main attacks in Cereus mean with more robust rules and how they work with each other. 

Tap. Barrier. Bomb.

Barrier - Swipe to deploy Bomb - long press to drop Tap - yeah

But what if each had their own defined strengths and weaknesses with special rules. Like bomb does more damage the more enemies it hits whereas barrier makes enemies take more damage from tap. 

Just trying to think of ways to make the game not such a spam-tap-fest. Unfortunately, the first move is most likely to put a limit on how often you can tap.
