Something i also rly love about Kipo and the age of Wonder Beasts is the soundtrack like right from the title card of the first episode it’s So Good. Haven’t heard a stinker, everything absolutely slaps

I think tumblr ate my last message lmao. I couldn't catch last night's game so I missed Toews literally taking on three islanders for Kaner. I feel like someone could accidentally push past Kane and Kill Bill sirens would start blasting in Toews head asdhlgkjl

you know it!!! protective jonny is literally the best. i like that practically everyone on the team and even the refs tend to be protective of patrick and pull him out of scrums asap (MUST SHIELD THE SMOL) but damn, jonny’s on a whole other level altogether. never seen someone move as fast as him as when he thinks patrick’s in danger. no hesitation in him too, he just flings himself bodily in there to keep patrick out of harm’s way lol.

You know how there’s a lot of child actors in horror? Like in exorcist, hereditary, It? I always wonder how funny it is they’re working in something they legally aren’t allowed to see. And I always wonder the behind the scenes stuff like do they know the whole plot? Do they at least watch the scenes they’re in? And I know the older kids like the loser gang in It are cynical lil gen z’s who have probably already see all sorts of horror media online but the younger kids are a different story. Are there like child physiologists on set? Rly makes me think

i cant speak for all movies but the amount of movie docs ive watched that feat child actors they have all said they had a real fun time on set - acting out everything on a movie set is very very diff than what we see and everything yk

i know for example in the excorcist linda blair wasn’t told what she was doing when she had to stab herself with the crucifix, they just told her to make stabbing motions around her lower area and then during the more explicit close ups of it they had an adult stand in

in the noes the dream child the kid who played freddys son had a real great time acting on set and everyone was super nice to him and he had a blast. iirc his own father irl passed not too long before he started filming and he said it all actually rlly helped him go through the grieving process and everything

children arent rlly fragile as a lot of people try and make it - they’re all developmental and most of the time it seems like they just don’t exactly know the scenes they’re acting in are as graphic and scary as they are, and/or how it’s really different when you’re BEHIND the set and the movie magic kinda doesn’t really exist there

tl:dr it varies from movie to movie about whether the child knows the plot and what they’re really doing, but most children who act in horror movies seem to have a real blast doing it and feel safe and comfortable the whole time

Do you still watch rtah videos? I remember when they were pretty popular on tumblr (Minecraft royals au, gta v fake ah crew au, even the hybrid au, etc.) but it feels like the fandom just up and vanished very quickly. Like.. nothing big/controversial happened and they’re still making content yet their presence here is just gone.

I watch them occasionally still yeah!
