Women in Mahabharata - Ganda
She is a woman from the Shudra community, and she worked for the Saptarishis. She was married to a Shudra person named Pashusakha, who was named thus because he loved all animals and took care of them.
She followed the Saptarishis and Arundhati through a drought, where they almost committed cannibalism, and then outsmarted the Kritya named Yaatudhani, who was sent by King Shaivya/Vrishadarbhi, the father of the boy, [who had been given to them as a slave], whom they almost cooked and consumed.
