Day 50: Favorite part of Skypiea arc?
Mmmmm... the survival game, probably, when Enel predicts that only five people will be left standing at the end. They all start to fall one by one and Enel fails in his prediction because there are six left. The scene where he says someone else must fall and Nami, who is the weak one between those still standing, is worried sick but Zoro, Robin, Wiper and Ganfall reply that he is the one that will fall... beautiful.
I like Enel as a villain a lot. He is the only villain in all of One Piece that I consider Luffy manages to defeat by sheer luck. Enel had a very high level of haki at a time in the story when Luffy hasn't developed it yet (and we didn't even know what that was) and, if he wasn't immune to electricity because he was made of rubber, they wouldn't have gotten out of there alive (when Enel finds out Luffy is immune to him has to be one of the funniest moments of the manga).
I also love how relevant this arc is now when everybody and their mothers were saying that this is a filler arc. Well, you were wrong, fuck you :D (and even if this arc wasn’t important because of the information it gives us, we needed an arc to meet Robin properly before the Enies Lobby events).
