I started watching Gaoranger this week, and I was not prepared to see the lifeless bodies of the Orgettes float up onto the water’s surface after being drowned by GaoBlue.

I know Super Sentai is more violent than Power Rangers (Japan having different standards for what children can see and all), but geez.

That being said, I’m enjoying the show!

hi i binged 31 episodes of gaoranger in the span of 1 night, anyways i am going insane over how 4/6 the team is just one massive messy mlm dating history

my hcs: gaoyellow (gaku) and gaoblue (kai) are exes/ex situationships and the only reason theyre still friends is because kai thought he'd be called a child for still being hung up on it and didn't want to receive the pity

gaoblue and gaoblack (sotaro) are obv boyfriends, sotaro newishly came out as queer like last month or smth so he's being lead by kai on how to get into queer culture, like getting to know local queer spaces and all

i initially thought gaored (kakeru) would be like the token straight guy- no, what he had going on with gaku is too fucking fruity for that, so yes throughout the show its just the unfolding love story between gaku and kakeru

gaku genuinely is like every gay guy ive seen at the bar who smokes and has one of the shittiest dating histories ever (partially his fault lmao)
