People are unfazed if you hate women but if you dislike dogs they assume you're a bad person
hi i binged 31 episodes of gaoranger in the span of 1 night, anyways i am going insane over how 4/6 the team is just one massive messy mlm dating history
my hcs: gaoyellow (gaku) and gaoblue (kai) are exes/ex situationships and the only reason theyre still friends is because kai thought he'd be called a child for still being hung up on it and didn't want to receive the pity
gaoblue and gaoblack (sotaro) are obv boyfriends, sotaro newishly came out as queer like last month or smth so he's being lead by kai on how to get into queer culture, like getting to know local queer spaces and all
i initially thought gaored (kakeru) would be like the token straight guy- no, what he had going on with gaku is too fucking fruity for that, so yes throughout the show its just the unfolding love story between gaku and kakeru
gaku genuinely is like every gay guy ive seen at the bar who smokes and has one of the shittiest dating histories ever (partially his fault lmao)
Redrawing random screencaps I find on pinterest part 1 maybe?
Ahim and Joe 💗💙🏴☠️
MY BELOVEDSSSSSSS OH MY FUCKING GOD LOOK AT THEMMMMMMMM AAAAAAAAAAAAA
in Mahou Sentai Magiranger (2005) Kai does a gay little pose that pisses his siblings off
my biggest "i will die on this hill" boukenger headcanon is that the boukenger relationship chart can also be accurately described as 2 throuples in a trench coat (masumi and souta are just natsuki's co-boyfriends.... for now) people are just too ignorant to see it. and i get it! i too lived my life being too enamored by the sakura/akashi/eiji throuple to see anything else but once you look beyond you shall be enlightened just trust me on this one
pause ur real
I do think "literally zero evidence indicates that gatekeeping medical transition does anything to prevent regret, but the harm done by gatekeeping is extensively documented" is a much stronger argument than "regret isn't real" cause there's always going to be some anecdote that puts you in a weak-looking rhetorical position for the latter, but the former is pretty unassailable.
it's meee I'm your guardian angel hiiiiii 😇 okay🙏 so. in about six months, you're gonna die of starvation. 🥺 and if I don't protect you, I will get: #fired! 🫢 and that is No Good 🙅♀️ hahaaa So. 🙏 I looked into causes of starvation, and it turns out: Your death is totally preventable! 😯 Uh oh! 😆 There's more than enough food to sustain you without interfering with anyone else's survival, but you're not allowed to have it! 🤨 Whaaat? 🤷♀️ Apparently, your death is premeditated by thousands of things called "shareholders." So. 🙏 I've been killing people,
could this diverse book by an usamerican author published by a big usamerican publisher available to only those in the us be the key to ending systemic bigotry?

Now would be a good time for everyone to understand how the US dollar hegemony works, and how oil was leveraged to turn the dollar into a weapon. Here, it goes like this:
1. The United States creates dollars, which costs them essentially nothing.
2. Over time, US military power compelled the biggest oil producers (starting with Saudi Arabia in 1974) to trade exclusively in dollars.
3. When a company needs oil, it needs dollars to buy it. You can obtain dollars in a number of ways: you can take a loan or you can sell shoes to the US or teacups to Europe. Notice that the factory has to ship actual shoes to the US or to third markets in order to obtain, basically, a bookkeeping entry that took the US microseconds to create.
4. The oil company receives the shoe factory's dollars in exchange for oil. It invests these dollars into US treasury bonds or securities, which is really the only sensible thing they can do --cash deprecates in value over time, and there are virtually no other risk-free places to park your billions of dollars worth of oil earnings.
5. The US puts part of the investment it received into military use, so that it can keep anyone who would dare to detach from this dollar hegemony in check. The rest goes to enrich the US. Return to step 1.
Note that this mechanism is essentially an obfuscated tax on the rest of the world. An Iranian shoe factory has to obtain dollars if it wants to buy oil, and the oil company is incentivized to store its dollars in the US treasury. This means that part of the value that foreign capitalists would otherwise pocket actually ends up in the United States.
To obtain a million dollars, the US government pushes a button; to obtain the same million a Bangladeshi factory has to sew 500 000 T-shirts.
Because the oil bill comes in dollars and the only deep, liquid, politically safe asset is a US Treasury bond, value flows to Wall Street.
In other words: The US creates money, manufactures a need for everyone to hold some of that money, and then incentivizes them to return that money to the US.
The petrodollar was only ever the beginning. Many things are gated behind the dollar: Shipping, aviation, SWIFT transactions, etc. Everyone needs dollars; if you can't get any you're going to struggle in the global capitalist economy. This is why the US gets to create seemingly endless dollars and have them still hold value, it's why the US can bend anyone reliant on the dollar to their will via sanctions; the dollar itself acts as a weapon. Of course, the status quo is maintained at gunpoint, and the dollar's value is ultimately backed by US military might. The United States exports death.
Because of all of this, the US has an enormous material incentive to keep oil flowing, to keep its military spending high, and to topple any and all projects that would endanger this system. To stop the flow of unequal exchange, to stop the coercive taxation over the rest of the world, would be to destabilize the US empire. Anyone who would provide an alternative must necessarily be seen as an adversary.
Want to nationalize your oil? Want to deal in another currency? Are you another military superpower? No? Too bad, here's one million drone strikes and a new *democratic* government for you.
This is why shifting to renewables has been such a struggle in the west, this is why the planet is warming, this is why the US is engaged in endless wars, this is why most of the world is poor, this is why millions have died. This is imperialism and it must be dismantled.

SO ABOUT THE ORANGE SIDE AND WHAT IT MEANS TO LOGAN
i think logan represents thomas's views on what logic should be like: calculating, no emotions, unfeeling, ect ect a very rigid caricature of what logic has been presented on media, on television
the definition of logic reads as such: reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity.
the whole point of the orange side is simply just logan's limitations and innate biases as being human, in which he often disregards emotions or anything related as such as anything but valid, things that do not follow according to logic philosophy (the one propagated by the likes of aristotle)
and im pretty sure this is the whole point of sanders sides, realizing that ultimately every single side is human and isn't simply just an abstract concept, they are a human's interpretation of said abstract concepts
so the whole point of the show is to directly humanize and find out more about thomas's humanity
also i feel like virgil doesnt have an opposite side because he IS the opposite side, because he himself is a walking contradiction badum tss
artstyle is fucked and i hate being alive. i will probably change the character designs later but for now, analogical nation how r we feeling
the screenshot i keep vauguing that i ripped from another post just fucking. I hate that this is a thing that is ok to say I hate that this would pass as an understandable sentiment in most “queer communities” i’ve been in. I hate all of you and your refusal to acknowledge the rampant transmisogyny present in yourself and others. I hate that none of you listen to us about it and continue to be the most insufferable pieces of shit in the world I hope the tears of every girl who kills herself before she ever lives because all she could find on trans femininity was shemale porn and a community that acts like fucking THIS haunts every single fucking bastard who acts like this.
