This night was full of possibilities and he knew that it could turn out to be whatever they made it out to be. As long as he had Harley at his side, he knew that things would remain interesting. “Night’s yours, what is it that you’d like to do? Who can we mess with first?” He scanned over the unsuspecting party-goers. A night wasn’t complete until he ruined it for someone, no matter what cost at times.

Steve definitely shouldn’t have drank a little bit before coming to see the other, but he felt like he needed some liquid confidence. Stuck underneath the buzz of mild intoxication, his eyes lit up the moment his gaze landed on Kylo and the distance between them closed. He knew the other didn’t like his space being invaded too much, but he couldn’t help himself from wrapping his arms around the other, half to keep his balance and the other half just to be close to him. “Hey, hey, is that a mirror in your pants? Because I can totally see myself in them.” He teased, scrunching his nose up. “I hope work wasn’t too bad for you today.” He reached up to brush Kylo’s hair back so he could get a good look at his face.

Peter couldn’t help but look the scars that marred his hands over as he held Alice’s much smaller hands in his own. He almost was afraid that he could hurt her if he held onto them too hard, his hold as gentle as possible. “I don’t really understand how someone like you could like someone like me,” he stated, disbelief lining his words as he allowed himself to free one of his hands so he could reach out and gently cup the blonde’s cheek. “I’m not a nice guy and I haven’t really done the best things in my past, but I would never hurt you. Do you trust me on that?” He made sure that he was looking directly into her eyes so she hopefully knew that he was being honest.

Dipper was trying his best to keep his focus on the horror movie that was playing on the television in front of them, but at this point, all he wanted to do was slowly scoot closer to Lili. He was supposed to be putting on a brave face and acting as if he was unphased, but he wasn’t too great of a liar. He never was. He took in a deep breath as he allowed his hand to slide across the surface of the couch to gently rest on Lili’s upper thigh in an innocent manner. “Is… is this scaring you at all? --Because I can totally cuddle you and protect you.” He let out a nervous chuckle.

Even though Will pretended to dread events like these, they reminded him of his youthhood. He readjusted the ribbon tie that he wore to complete his formal attire for the night as he turned, hearing the door open behind him. The moment his gaze fell upon Cindy, he felt his heartbeat quicken. “You look like a princess straight out of a storybook.” He complimented, a smile spreading across his lips. “Are you ready to go? You’re going to absolutely love this party. It’s really extravagant and a little bit over the top, but we can leave if you feel bored or uncomfortable, I just need to make a quick appearance and having you by my side is the only way I wanted to do so.”

nancy felt a bit nervous as she sought out the other girl. karen was rather popular and nancy felt like any popularity she had was thanks to steve. and the feelings she’d developed for karen also made her all the more nervous, unsure how to handle them. but, she decided that she should at least take a chance to let karen know she existed. when she spotted the girl, she walked over to her and held out a small bag. inside was a small collection of valentine’s day themed makeup and chocolates. “um, karen. hi. i don’t know if you know me -- i’m nancy. happy valentine’s day! your makeup is always so pretty, so i thought you could use these to continue looking really pretty.”

edmund was never really a romantic person, nor could he say he ever had romantic feelings in the first place. but for some reason artie made him feel a bit different -- maybe so different that he was willing to share his favorite treat. he slid the small box of turkish treats over to the other, not saying anything as he expected the other to take a piece. he told himself that if artie didn’t like the sweet, then he was actually delusional and they weren’t meant to be together. but, who knew if he would hold true to his thought’s words.
