Blossoms and buds on my Meramec River path. 

Virginia bluebells,  Mertensia virginica, make an excellent addition to backyard shade gardens as they attract long-tonged bees, butterflies, and the adorable hummingbird moth. Please purchase them from a shop and leave nature undisturbed.
