Garden finds! Today I have picked some of my Anaheim Peppers, Tabasco and some of my last squashes. Out of 16 yellow and green squashes, I am left with 3 lonely ones and I am not expecting much to happen except to bloom flowers. I have planted another round of squashes just as a mini experiment to see if they can withstand the Texas heat. Also coming in are my cute Cherry Tomatoes, along with some Roma Tomatoes and Beefy Heirloom Tomatoes!! I am also so excited that I will be pickling Tabasco peppers in a couple of days! Just waiting for another round of peppers. The wind has been really lately strong. While I was tidying up the garden, there were a lot of cherry blossom branches scattered around. So, what to do but make an arrangement with them

Veggie garden finds. 1. An Armenian cucumber that grew as fast as a zucchini , 2. Some of the prettiest pepper plant leaves I've seen (photo doesn't do them justice), 3. Volunteer lettuce amongst the hot peppers, 4. Eight Ball zucchini i haven't picked for a cpl days and 5. Romanesco zucchini that's decided to take on the world. I think I may leave those be (instead of picking) to see just how big I can get them! 6. The face one gets while weeding inside the hoophouse on a 96 degree day.
