Gardenglow is a new alicorn messenger in training, under Flower Dream at the House of Growth.

Flower isn't the most sociable pony, especially next to Gardenglow who wants to spend nearly every waken hour of their travels from one house to the other yapping her ear off.

Sweetheart Sisters Gardenglow came in a lot of other ponies, in poor condition.

She was faded overall, but especially on her rump, in addition to stains on her head. Her hair texture was also really weird and I stole her tail for another Sweetheart Sister who’s tail was cut short.

Usually I’d toss a pony like this into the BatiBox after cleaning and derustbutting, and she was in there for a while, but I kept thinking I’d like to play with her a bit.

I couldn’t make her too much worse.

I got to practice painting over a stain and bleached out spot (need a lot more practice with THAT), and using the airbrush to “pearlize” her though I used tinted, glossy, color-shift paint. I don’t hate the end results even though they’re not up to selling quality I don’t think, thanks to how poor condition her body was in from the start.

I very well may color shift “pearlize” a better looking pony some day.

She got a rehair in dioxazine purple and “Heart Throb” pink, with a neon green-yellow braid that has blue tinsel, and which I cut too short oops.

Orange ribbon for added contrast. Why not?!
