Garfield Minus Garfield has been around for many years, but I often feel it speaks to a lot of us today.
Since the thumbnail gives no clue, basically a guy named Dan Walsh created a website in the mid-2000s that took Jim Davis' Garfield comic strips, digitally erased Garfield from them, and the result was mostly Jon just pontificating on the meaninglessness (it's a word now so sue me) of life.
Instead of crying copyright and putting his foot own, Davis not only endorsed the project, he arranged to publish a book (Garfield Minus Garfield) of the strips. The site itself is still up...

No
I've never heard of it
"Garfield Minus Garfield is a site dedicated to removing Garfield from the Garfield comic strips in order to reveal the existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb."
