Some art for www.furaffinity.net/user/e5111, of their character Eirwen from Headlong Flight, a Kroashent-themed module for the "To Change" TTRPG system.
------------
Eirwen's adventure in Headlong Flight involved her dealing with a transformation into a gargoul as the Windship she was on was caught in a magical storm with a saboteur working to bring down the airship and all aboard. Eirwen didn't actually remain as a gargoul (some in her party did), but she got pretty close! I've drawn her as a lamia/naga-like Margot before, so it seemed fitting to draw this, because imps are fun to draw!

A small discussion on the Kroashent Discord server (DM for invite!) led to another addition to the Kroashent - Impish Intentions Gargoul TF series, featuring the characters of Kroashent imped out to these cute little forms. Morgiana radiates imp mischief in all of her forms, so she seemed like a natural candidate for another entry into the series, complete with a new outfit to match!
The Gargoul/Imps of Kroashent are always a lot of fun to draw, so they've become one of my go-to stress relief drawings. I couldn't decide on an outfit for Morgiana, so I made several. You can see them and a few others on my my Patreon page link below.

Kroashent is intended to explore the themes of acceptance, identity and love that Pride represents, and I hope that you come to love these characters as much as I do. I plan on doing a few for this set over the next month, sharing the different identities of Alvez, and of course, our own world.
Happy Pride from Alptraum and the rest of the Kroashent cast (and of course from Val as well!) Stay strong and stay seen!

"Are you ready to be IMPressed?! The Great and Powerful Morgiana, Mistress of Illusion, makes her grand appearance!"

Faebruary: I am very excited to share this monthlong project with you all! Regular viewers of this channel will know that a lot of my creative focus goes into Kroashent, my ongoing fantasy series. There's a ton of background lore for the series, so I thought it might be fun and helpful to run a little project to introduce to viewers new and old, to the characters and creatures of Kroashent, with a twist!
For the month of February (or rather "Faebruary!" I will be posting drawings of the characters of Kroashent as different creatures from Alvez, their world. To begin, these creatures will be the "Tuath", the sapient, social creatures of the world (think the playable species of D&D). (We'll address the beasties and things that go bump in the night in a future project)
------------------------------
Morgiana: Morgiana is a mischief maker at heart, a playful trickster who relies on her cleverness to get her into and out of trouble. A former slave and dancing girl from far off Ubar, she fled a gang of vicious bandits to start a new life in Letha. Morgiana assists her friends in the "Forthaves Vinegar Company" with her powerful illusion magic and quick wits.

Gargoul: The Korrigan of the Mountains. The Gargoul are not originally from Letha, but rather the cold forests and mountains to the East. Adapted to living on windswept cliffsides, these small imps have adapted well to living in the castles and Cathedrals of the West. Naturally curious and often mechanically gifted, they love to tinker with complex machinery and carry out convoluted pranks.

Val's Notes: Morgiana really "clicks" as a gargoul, and its always a joy to draw her as one. Her impish energy really comes across without needing to force it. Initially, I wasn't planning on this being the series I did, but I really liked how she turned out, which started the whole process. Morgiana is inspired by a character of the same name from Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, while the Gargoul are inspired by the gargoyles of gothic cathedrals and the gremlins of British aviation folklore.

A Kroashent-related commission, featuring Cael Mac Lochlainn ( https://www.tumblr.com/kroashent/720116782834319360/kroashent-commission-cael-mac-lochlainn-an?source=share ), transformed into a Gargoul, the impish Korrigan of the Mountains. Typically a spider-like Gwiader, Cael is a Journeyman in La Ligue Brigantia, the Guild of Dyers, Spinners and Weavers in the Northern city of Naoned. As a significantly smaller Gargoul, she still happily takes on the task of a tailor, working out of the Forest, a shantytown maze within the city walls built on the back of grounded ships, floating docks and rickety bridges. She has a small, but busy practice in the neighborhood, cheerfully going about her work!
Cael is wearing two symbols of her Guild. The silver drop spindle that shows her rank as a journeyman and the Goldenrod colours of the guild on her hat.

For a bit of context to those new to Kroashent. I've made a little side story with the Kroashent cast, transforming them from their normal forms into imp-like Gargoul, the Korrigan of the Mountains. Gargoul are small, clever and mischievous, taking delight in pranks and jokes. While Morgiana is a natural at this, Marie, bless her little heart, is very enthusiastic but ... unclear on the assignment. Her self-proclaimed greatest "prank" involved swapping two the order of two volumes of a long and barely touched series in the library (Before deciding she had gone too far and swapping them back.)

Thanks for everyone who follows this little page! I hope to make some proper character introduction pages so you can meet the cast if you are not familiar with them already from elsewhere!
