A drawing for @haunting-heroes-creative-games! It was a Guess the Artist, but we could do trick or treat so I gave up on hiding in the least.
I figure little gargoyle Jason was alone on a roof and was cold and it was raining so he tried to hide under a tarp... which turned out to be Batman's cape. Of course Bruce couldn't just leave the little one there... and he's not going to have any of high society thinking less of his son for being an inhuman either!
Just so you know, Jason is very lorge and Danny smol.
Just some important information.
Outfit redesign for an older Phantom- both super suit and kingly raiment! I wanted them to be visually the 'same' while making the raiment more formal with the cape and other small changes.
The spirit of Gotham was tired. They loved their city dearly enough to recognized that with them being so tired, their protections over Gotham had grown thin. It was time for a new protector. Luckily, they had the perfect replacement in mind- a son of the city. A son born and buried and risen again from their dirt.
To bad no one told Jason Todd about this plan- at least not till after he had already been summoned.

A little AU where Jason becomes the City Spirit of Gotham and, as city spirits do, takes on a ghost form to match the architecture of the city. In Jason's case, that means gargoyles/grotesques. There were worse things to become! Had fun playing with a simpler style than I normally do. I'm still not a master of the big black shadows, but I'm getting better!

Concept spurned by Aqua in the discord purposing Jason becomes the next City Spirit of Gotham, which lead me to thinking of the City Spirits taking after the architecture of the city. So of course Jason would be gargoyle themed!
Heavily inspired by Disney's Gargoyles and the one comic RH outfit.
I again am blaming the discord for this gargoyle!Ghost form Jason. He's just vibing with Gotham a little too hard...
