Maybe I'm way off, but...the Traveler is a very new god, and I may be a bit fuzzy on the timeline but it seems like Jester was one of the first ones he interacted with, so maybe about 20, 30 years. The Mighty Nein campaign starts about 20, 30 years after the defeat of Vecna, right? And, thought I havent finished campaign 1 yet, I just got to the part where they had to plane shift to Garmili (Artagan) in order to do some time shenanigans to get back to Thar Amphlala in enough time. One of his conditions was to open gateways for him to get into the prime material plane.

...is Artagan The Traveler?

If Artagan does end up being Jesters deity I hope we eventually get a wonderful family portrait like we did with Vox Machina (image search Garmili portrait of you don't know what I'm talking about)

Imagine it,

Caleb just covered in shit, killing flies

Molly and Beau making out furiously

Nott on a leash, Frumpkin in her mouth

Fjord covered in tentacles

Yasha huge and muscular, but with her eyes pointed two different directions, mouth full of flowers

Jester very cute, but with paintbrushes coming out of her nose and ears, all her clothes are garishly colored and made of donuts

What if the Traveler from critical role is actually Artagan 20 years later? Like I know the traveler is supposed to be an old god, but most of Matt’s lore is made up anyways
