As a possible theory: Spinel and Garnet get into an argument. Spinel maybe snaps at her. Spinel isn't known to have friendship experience and Steven is peeved at their fight and tries to humorously make them friends again (Oh, hey, Spinel...just passing by....with Garnet....our friend....Garnet, Spinel's here. We're all in the same room....)

I might have a problem

So I just realized...I love shipping a harem for a specific character in three different series.

Teen Titans- Raven/Harem (Starfire, Jinx, Terra)

Steven Universe- Spinel/Harem (Pink Pearl, Garnet, Lapis, Jasper, and sometimes Biggs (I blame a really good fic for the Biggs pairing))

Miraculous Ladybug - Marinette/Harem (Lila (fandom version before they made her awful in canon), Kagami, Chloe, Juleka, Alya, and Aurore)

...so yeah...I just love these girls getting a lot of love...like I said I might have a problem...😅
