The Shopping Adventures of Garrett and Anders | Garrett & Anders
“What about these ceramic turkeys with googly eyes?” Anders snorted, holding up a decorative bird next to his face and imitating it.
Ders had to admit it, this situation was a little bit funny. Okay, it was actually a lot comical. One that he hadn’t anticipated in a million years, yet here he was, standing in Crate + Barrel with Garrett, trying to find suitable Thanksgiving holiday decorations that weren’t completely ridiculous or polarizing, something, they were finding, wasn’t as easy of a task as first anticipated.
Ever since Anders gotten the green light on a blended Thanksgiving dinner with his sister and parents, as well as Mason’s brother and mom, he’d been a little bit stressed out about it. The perpetual people pleaser that he was, he couldn’t help but want to make the perfect impression, both for Mason’s family and his own. So he'd suggested some decorations to add a little to his apartment, and Mason had emphatically agreed. Unfortunately, she was busy with work and couldn’t give the decorating eye that Ders desperately needed. The next best thing? Garrett, apparently. Though Ders knew that Alcott maybe wasn’t the best person to help him succeed in this mission, but if nothing else, he’d make it a hell of a lot more entertaining, and that almost made it worth it.
“This is the kind of shit my grandma has probably owned since the 70′s and they’re selling it for $70? What the hell, man?” he asked, glancing at the price tag and putting it back immediately. “So my choices are cheap stuff that looks cheap or good quality stuff that’s expensive? Ugh, dude. Help. This is absolutely maddening.”
