Oh , great galvatron , for one as powerful as you, did you have any upstarts besides starscream who tried to take your throne?

Of course! There are nearly as many who have desired my throne as there are lights in the night sky, as my former tactician Thrust might say. He himself counted in their number, and he met a fate most fitting for one so foolish.

Another such traitor was Bombshell, whose cerebro-shells forced my own loyal Decepticons to rise against me! That’s one score I still need to— no, such matters are beneath me now.

Some of these would-be usurpers were foiled without me lifting a finger. I learned of one called Overlord—whose alternate modes were a prototype for Tidal Wave’s Dark Fleet—who tried raising an army against me on Garrus-9. My general, Skyquake, put an end to those machinations, at the cost of his spark. It goes to show that for every follower driven to envy, another turns to zeal.

This barely scratches the surface of has-beens and never-weres that have set their sights on my title. Shockblast, Six Shot, Killmaster, Kilohertz, Dynamo, Fearmonger... and many, many more whose names I do not recall. They all met the same fate.

Managed to snag a copy of Last Stand of the Wreckers by Nick Roche and James Roberts. Amazing, as I thought it’d be. Fell in love with everybody, but I had to sit down and draw the sadistic Decepticon Overlord. He’s such a compelling and terrifying bad guy. A combination torturer and force of nature.

Maybe I’ll get to Rotorstorm and Impactor one of these days.
