Mexican Gasoline Baths -> Nazi Gas Chambers
Are you a decedent of a Bracero? In 1917 the U.S. began fumigating Mexican people at the border with toxic pesticides “for public health.” They used Zyklon B, the same chemical Nazis later used in gas chambers. The Nazis studied U.S. racial laws, border procedures, sterilization programs. This is documented history, it’s not conspiracy. And those fumigations didn’t end in 1920. They continued until 1972! A 17-year-old girl, Carmelita Torres, refused to be stripped and sprayed like an insect. She sparked the Bath Riots of 1917 with dozens of women. After that day, Carmelita vanished. Erased and murdered for resisting. The pattern never stopped. During WWII the U.S. begged our people to enter through the Bracero Program, then launched Operation Wetback and deported over 1 million of our people. From U.S Citizens, kids, workers. Many braceros later died from cancers caused by the conditions they were forced to endure. And they are STILL fighting for unpaid wages. This is colonization. Always use, abuse, discard. Build a nation on our labor, then bury our stories. But we are still here. And we remember everything. Spend like you remember your ancestors. Think critically. Question everything.
