Gastorber Day 6: War (Dragons…I guess AU)
During the war between humans and monsters, Gaster and Asgore were able to fend off the bulk of armies against them while smaller monster armies and civilians retreated towards Mt. Ebott.
When Asgore was severely wounded, Gaster took him and joined the others by the mountain, where, eventually, the remaining monsters would be sealed underground.
Of all the monsters, Gaster had the highest kill count, Asgore was second. It was during this time that Gaster received his scar above his right eye.
Gaster’s reputation eventually led to the humans calling him, the “Fell Dragon”.
Even now, after generations have gone by, humans still tell scary stories about the evil and wicked “Fell Dragon” that once appeared to kill and devour thousands of humans until it was slain by the great Seven Mages.
I recently got rather invested in the character Gaster from Undertale. As I was thinking, I came up with the idea of Gaster, but he looks like a humanoid version of a Gaster Blaster. Also decided to have Sans and Papyrus look like the same species because why not. Pretty much a boney dragon-like creature who's true form, which they can turn into at will if they desire to, is a gigantic, wingless beast-like being. But, to better fit in with society and to fit into places better, they tend to use humanoid forms that are taller than some monsters but smaller over all than their true forms. I like to think that Gaster has a ability to switch between magics as well. Like he can use yellow magic to shoot bullets from his finger tips. Orange magic to harm speedy or jittery opponents. Purple is either a force field or a concentrated blade, not sure yet need to research more on the idea. Green I haven't figured out yet either, probably barriers? But his primary magic that he'd use the most is blue magic and orange magic, blue being able to grab and throw and hold the very soul of a being thus pretty much holding them. Of course it's a concept but it's an interesting one. Normally his eyes only change color when he uses said mentioned magics, otherwise they're white in coloration. I drew both his pre core incident form and his post core incident form and even his true form a little. He's pretty goopy in his post incident form so even though he looks like melted ice cream he'll reform himself once he manages to stabilize his form enough. At any rate, this man has been stuck in my head for the past week, both in normal form and in this Gaster Blaster au type idea. Going on two. So uh, there may or may not be more with other characters. Maybe.

Gastorber Day 24: Pet (Dragons…I guess AU)
Back in the day, dragons were a rarity. Mainly because the majority of them hated humans and human-loving monsters.
So having Asgore not only seeing a dragon but also becoming friends with one, the first thing the goat king does is give him all the hugs and pets while gushing about how cool Gaster is.
Gaster, on the other hand, is more confused as to how nice the king is. He was a little uncomfortable about the hugs and pets at first (actually he still kind of is) but he’s gotten used to it since then.
Some more Dragon!Gaster doodles and headcanons from my Dragons...I guess AU. This time a small comic with a convo between Asgore and Gaster in the early days of the underground.
TLDR: Skeleton dragons are better used as lighters than flamethrowers.
Text under the line:
ahh i love writing super graphic gaster blaster battle scenes. >:3
i literally wrote this for an original gaster blaster fanfic we are writing together based off an idea she got at like midnight while eating cereal (don’t ask why. we don’t question crystel. XD)
this is basically my headcanon for why his right eye doesn't glow. gaster attempted to blind him, nearly succeeding, but then sans used his magic to try to heal his wounds, and the magic never really came back to his right eye. he's not blind, but he lost the magic (?) in the socket itself. does that make sense??
this was so much fun to write tho. i’m super proud of the description i used. :3
