I'm currently in Corfu, Greece🇬🇷 for the last 5 days. It's only my second time here; the first was ages ago, in 2000 or 2001 - I forgot. The only things about Corfu that I remembered are the great view over the #Ionian Sea from #Sisi's Schloß⛪ Achilleion (the summer palace built for the Empress Elisabeth of Austria in the town of #Gastouri here in 1890) - and the clarity of the ocean🌊 around. So, 5 days now I'm taking it easy, since I had quite an 60-hour travel #Odyssey; coming from Vlorë/Albania via ferry to Brindisi/Italy, then by train to Bari/Italy and another ferry from Bari to Corfu, since direct 10 Euro ferries from Sarandë/Albania to Corfu, which only take 20 minutes are currently not allowed due to Albania not being a European Union Member state. I had a #Covid19Test on arrival in Corfu, isolated & thankfully no positive test feedback. I'm spending the days doing nothing but swimming & snorkeling through the clearest waters ever, chasing fish🐠 and octopus🐙 and eating delicious Greek food, drinking Greek wine🍷, Metaxa🥃 & Ouzo🥛 & doing exactly nothing else.
