If we’re gonna say the Gatekeeper is Alm, (maybe a reincarnation or something) how about we reincarnate other Lords into the role of background characters?
We could say Celica is priest at Garreg Mach, or maybe a mercenary for the sake of irony.
Chrom could be a Faerghus minor lord or something and Lucina is his young daughter.
Maybe Robin’s a runaway Agarthan who gets taken in by Chrom.
Corrin could be a Nabatean who survived the Genocide and just wanders around doing acts of kindness.
