On the tenth day of Dashain (called Dashami), people get Tika, Jamara and Dakshina as a form of  blessings from elders. ⠀ .⠀ Tika: Prepared by mixing rice, yogurt, and red color, Tika symbolizes the family bonding with blood.⠀ .⠀ Jamara: The first day of Dashain(called Ghatasthapana) starts with planting seeds of barley or rice or corn. After a week, plant sprouts with yellow in colour as it is grown in dark room, and is called as Jamara. A typical Terai sunset and the #Peepal tree. Among others plants, Ficus religiosa, also commonly known as पीपलको रूख (Peepal ko rukh), "tree of Peepal" in Nepali language, holds a special spiritual significance among Hindu believers. Belonging to the fig family, Peepal tree is considered as one of the important holy diety among the devotees. It is believed to bring good aura to the ones who respect and take care of the tree. Because of this reason, it is common to erect a shrine(or build a temple) near the bottom of the tree.
