'ello this is gather and I’ve created a navigation post

#I started this august last year 😭😭😭#so it has been a couple of months #I mainly made this to keep track of my tags and to easily locate my posts lol #gathertalks

Okay to keep myself accountable for my projects/diys, I’m making a little checklist that I can tick when I’ve done each task:

Finish embroidery on shoe

Get up to date on my gap year journal

Finish my crocheted jumper (might need more yarn)

Finish non fiction writing project

Draft out a plan for latest writing plan

Start planning future project I have in mind

Write more chapters of my current work

Research for temperature blanket

Finish TBOSAS (I have just under 100 pages)

Get up to date with my book journal

Start Mother’s Day gift

Okay mini life update since I’m about halfway through my gap year….

#so I don’t really know where to start #anyway for the past like 3ish months I’ve been very radio silence :|#mainly because of work #but also I’ve been busy doing uni interviews/prepping for them #I’m very much a person who likes to dedicate their time on something #and give it my undivided attention #so that’s why I’ve been slacking on giving updates and why my drafts keep on building up 💀#anyway i digress #exciting news I’m going to uni!!!!#and I’m going to do vet med with a foundation year :)))#it’s going to be a long six years #but I’m so excited to start my course #I found out like last week but it took so long #since I did the interview in mid feb and they said I would find out mid March #so when it got past mid march I was loosing hope 😭😭😭#anyway I’m so relieved that the uni process is over and I can’t wait for september to come #it’s going to be a really big adjustment going from my small city to a pretty big city but I’m sure I’ll cope #some other updates #work still sucks but it’s only for a couple months #then I see if I can talk to my manger about working when I’m on holidays #some other exciting news I’m going travelling in about 3 weeks so I’m very excited about that #and after this I might do one more trip maybe …#gatherrambles #gathertalks #thegapyeardiaries

I’m taking a mini hiatus so I can focus on studying so I’ll be logging off as of tomorrow. I will be popping in to upload real-time post and updates but will mostly be queuing posts with the tag :

My school newspaper is finally out, screaming because I can’t believe my article is in it and screaming because my last name was spelt wrong

#okay so the things that’s really funny #is that I’m mentioned in a later article #and my surname was spelt correctly #however no one questioned that my name was spelt two different ways #hey ho #anyway #read through my article #and I can’t believe I wrote it #and submitted #but my headteacher said it was really good and sounded professional #which is a relief #since I thought it was pretty bad #gathertalks

As of late I haven’t mentally been feeling the best or physically, so I’ve decided to take a mini break from posting. Future apologies for slow responses I will get to them :)

Announcement/life update

It has come to my attention that my mocks are in 2 months (or just under). So in order to help myself not procrastinate I’m going to be taking a mini break. I will probably still be active and online but not as much, so future apologies for slow dms. If I do post it’s will be under the queue #queue ‘tis exam season
