Open Starter : Genji

Summertime and the living is... easy. If only the fish were jumpin'. Genji had been sitting on the bridge for long enough that a few people stopped to make sure she wasn't planning on jumping- not that that would hurt her at all. The Alligator yaoguai blended in with people pretty seamlessly, and so looking at her, it was hard to discern her from the average person unless you knew what to look for. Namely the dark, scaly bits peeking out from beneath her Jurassic Park T-shirt.

Still, people stopped, checked in, were genuinely friendly and concerned, but when she showed her fishing pole, some would laugh her off, some would get agitated, and others would ask if it was legal to fish there. She'd been fishing there since before the city was built, so she didn't see a reason why she should stop now. No one had been ballsy enough to make her stop.

This was just... her spot in her town where she could catch her fish, but things were slow lately, and it was starting to make her feel down. There was a market down the street with fresh fish from the ocean that she could smell, tantalizingly close and teasing her with the promise of food.... But some stubborn part of herself- the one that didn't care if she went hungry- wanted to catch it her own damn self.

Eventually, however, she had to pack it in, seeing there were no bites today, and the sky was growing overcast as the sun headed towards the horizon. Great. Just what she needed, rain on the way home.
