this little piece was an excercise in atmospheric perspective and local value.

i chose gaur plains because of how iconic a view it is, and because of how sprawling it is with features trailing of into the far distance it lent itself well to the atmospheric perspective excercise. this was my first color painting using guache, so i think it came out raher well all things considered.
