I call it ReclusiveRetail and I KNOW how generic it is i was racking my brain for something better but I COULDNT. crying emoji.

So uh. Im editing the backstory a bit because I kinda hated the original I had. Ill still keep the text and stuff, just adding this.

Instead of Homeowner moving by himself for whatever reason, hes moving there with his wife (they aren't divorced yet) and he makes acquaintance with Clark. As Homeowner's marriage gets rocky, he gets closer to Clark to avoid being home. When Clark finds the backrooms not only is it an escape from people, but also from his failing marriage. The rest is pretty much the same

(Old:) Yapping time. okay so I imagine that Homeowner moves to America after his divorce and meets Clark after going to his store for new furniture

Its before Clark finds the backrooms and is sill trying to get better, so when Homeowner doesnt take his shit and argues back and whatever, Clark is more drawn to him

not entirely sure how to add to my little story once they find the backrooms but Homeowner likes it in there because. Secluded. so he is kind of ignorant to all the shit happening with clark due to his desire to be alone

This is probably just barely legible but i just need to communicate what is in my brain. also I really like the idea of homeowner in the backrooms in general because of my own personal characterization and headcanons of him. I would write them down but Id just end up crying and pointing to a picture of him as I struggle to say a single word

I like the flat colours more then shaded, but like. Whatever.

The colours in the concept sketch are really good but it felt flat when I tried to redo it so I just freestyled
