Castiel was content with sacrificing himself to eternal damnation for Dean so that he could live on for the rest of his life and despite the fact that Dean could not reciprocate those romantic feelings it didn't change Castiels' mind. He was happy to do it regardless. He didn't care that Dean couldn't say anything in return or accept his feelings, he was content with simply expressing his feelings before sacrificing himself for the man who taught him what humanity was and changed him so fundamentally that he too began to feel human in an act of true happiness.

I am not watching the Teen Wolf movie because I love myself and respect my own time, but I am curious what other ships from when I was in college people think should get the superhell treatment. Is it a lesbian couple next? Is Merthur making a surprise comeback? It won’t be BBC Sherlock or Dr Who because Bumblefuck Counterpoint is too big for it and Dr Who’s only real option is Jack Harkness, who already has been through the shit, and who was confirmed bi and try-sexual. What about Glee? Think Chord Overstreet would touch that bullshit again? What do the people feel?
