I keep imagining getting pinned down by a man who ive grown to love and have a romantic relationship with. Yet, I refuse to take that next step with him. Not because I dont want to, but because im so very deeply afraid.

Im afraid of what his reaction would be to the fat that covers my tummy. His reaction to the scars that proudly decorate my chest. His reaction to my shame and my attempts to keep myself covered.

Ive always pictured it being gentle.

Gentle hands groping the soft flesh of my stomach, whispering soft praises into my ear. Almost screaming retorts, threats, and disagreements to every positive word he'd say. Unable to believe that he could see anything worth lovibg in me.

He'd force me to let him touch me in ways that make me feel sick. Sick because I never imagined anyone truly wanting to feel and embrace the parts of myself I find disgusting. Sick because of years of being told that being fat, curvy, heavy, plump, soft, etc was wrong. Years of being told that I was wrong would be washed away in the strong hands that kept me pinned down.
