Extrañando el invierno y su pelaje 😿. . . . . . . . . . #cat #pet #catlife #gaycat #love #winter #tbt #friday #santiago #chile (en Parque Bustamante) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClHg0wXu0eE/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
@gaycat YES! i liked victor when i played 2 bc there was so much mystery there, but i really fell in love with him in classic bc of how close he gets with daniil and just like, how much you see of what he's going through. ALSO YEAH i want to know what nina saw in him and why he was the only person she really listened to! what's going on there!!
same! i feel like marble nest implies that they're going to do something similar to his plot in classic, but i'm sure they're going to change it up in a lot of ways
✨🍭🕊️
✨- which fictional character (book, show, or movie) do you relate to most? i relate a lot to glimmer from she-ra!! she cares a lot for her friends and likes to have fun, but she can also be headstrong and stubborn. enthusiastic, impulsive, and gets down on herself for not feeling good enough for other people lmao ALSO i would love magical powers.
🍭- how tall are you? 5′5″... i wanted to be 6′ as a kid :(
🕊️- 3 habits you have? picking my nails when nervous, singing improvised song covers to my cats, and scrolling through instagram for like 30 minutes before i sleep lol
FOR THE GOAT MAN... 2, 20, 28, 40, 66

2. do they consider themselves an optimist? pessimist? realist? what are they like in actuality? Sylris absolutely considers himself a realist. He’s always prided himself on being very logical and seeing all sides of the issue.... though he’s pretty ignorant to how stubborn he is when he’s latched onto something as being ‘The Correct Answer.’ I think in reality he’s more pessimistic. His sense of hope and inspiration is primarily funneled into his belief that the Harpers can actually make some political difference in Waterdeep, but it’s clearly an uphill battle, and he’s far more grumbly about how the upper class is never going to want to let go of their assets. It’s very easy for him to imagine the worst possible scenario for things and become convinced that that’s what the highest likelihood is. He also doesn’t have a lot of faith in other people and thinks of them as naturally self-serving until they prove to him otherwise. It’s really meaningful to him when his pessimism is proved wrong though! Someone does something nice for him and he thinks about it for a week.
20. can your character flirt? are they aware they’re flirting? how do they do it? NO. That one-liner at the casino was the best he’ll ever do. Sylris is that “get out of my school” tumblr post, he can be pretty stilted and avoidant around people he likes and has a tendency to put his foot (hoof) in his mouth. He is always hyper-aware he’s flirting because he’s so terrible at it that it takes an active effort. If he ever told Renaer he looked nice he’d probably have to go home and lie down afterwards. I think Sylris has a very like... cinematic view of flirting? Like it’s supposed to be dashing and slightly over-the-top, rather than just one person complimenting another with the undertone of interest. I think in that regard he’s less aware when he’s flirting well.... he and uhh a certain someone had an intimate moment a while back, but he wouldn’t have viewed it as flirting, just being caught up in what felt right and what made them smile.
28. why do they keep secrets? Oh this is such a good one!! I think there’s a few reasons. The first is that Sylris is afraid of other people weaponizing his secrets, even in a non-malicious manner, but like people knowing too much about him when he’s trying so hard to be organized and just and perfect. And the second is kind of in line with that, in that... sometimes they’re hard to admit to himself? Speaking it out loud and having it live now in someone else’s head would just make it more real. He thinks he can solve most of problems on his own without having to impact anyone else’s view of him. There’s just a lot of regret that comes with being too frank about his passions and fears and all of those things that live intensely inside of him but struggle to pop up to the surface. He’s scared of making mistakes, and he’s so highly critical of himself that he doesn’t want to open himself up to (perceived) criticism from others.
40. describe a corruption/redemption arc version of your character. YEA!!!
Sylris is actually one of my least corruptible characters because he’s so boring but I will work with this. His corruption arc would absolutely have to be losing himself in his principles... maybe if he lost the people close to him especially if it was a circumstance where it was like to government corruption, and he’d realize that nothing he’s been doing his entire life even matters if he can’t protect those he loves. I think he’d become more of a free agent and lean into his trickster magic more, some kind of underground political radical who doesn’t mind breaking a few eggs if it makes their “send all Masked Lords to the guillotine” omelette in the end. He’d be exceptionally critical of others and fall even deeper into black-and-white thinking, like if you’re not with me you’re against me because I literally cannot handle anyone thinking I’m wrong because I have 0 faith in myself anymore.
And I think he’s actually on his redemption arc! Or at least a positive self-growth arc! Learning to be conscientious but more flexible, putting more trust in other people and celebrating differences, and reconnecting with his god in a new way! Sylris has always wanted to make a difference and with the way this campaign is (probably lol) going, he’s going to have an opportunity to not just be a firbolg from Undercliff but be somebody and help people and rise above the noise of the city that he’s so pessimistic about. Also I feel like his redemption arc needs to involve him having a kid and being a PTA mom that’s just a requirement for his ideal future.
66. outward passion or quiet rebellion? Theoretically and ideally quiet rebellion, but Sylris cannot help popping off when he’s passionate about something. So in a way both, but outward passion if one must be picked.
