do u have any advice for artist that are not beginners but are not even close to experts that want to improve?

YES!!! fill an entire page with terrible pen drawings.. from reference AND from your mind. no erasing no time to think just get in the habit of letting ideas flow! a lot of beginners get stuck on that phase of thinking they have to make the "perfect" drawing when they never will because they dont have the technical skills, visual library or muscle memory to yet (which is perfectly okay!!) but if you wanna maximize how much you are learning you need to create a LOT!
