I'm really torn up because I heard about the allegations but, like you said, it was only one twitter account. But these days I'm just constantly afraid because it feels like nobody's a good person, not even me, and what if they're true would I be supporting terrible things and all this shit makes my heart hurt. I just want to enjoy his music and the way it makes me feel like summer and stars and being in love and I'm super afraid...

honestly, unless some more info comes out, don’t believe the allegations and don’t worry about liking him and his music. i’ve gone over this in my head a ton of times and i really feel that he’s a nice guy and not a creep.

Hi! I saw someone post on twitter that they are not supporting garrett anymore for the reason that no more trash artists/musicians 2018 because “their time is up” and she mentions allegations of him being rude to fans and also abusing some of those younger fans. I just want to know the low down on this issues towards him because I haven’t been fully aware of them or please what can you say about this? Thank you!

So in november on twitter a girl claimed that G had a reputation for going after underage fans and being inappropriate w/them. as in, asking for nudes, touching them etc. even when he knew they were underage/didn’t want it. BUT the problem with that was only like, 3 people anonymously claimed it happened to them and the accusations were kind of vague. one claimed that G kept putting his arms around her and it made her uncomfortable but then added that he DID stop when he realised she didn’t like it. 

I do know that his GF is around 19 so that caused some controversy, especially when it came out that he knew her for 2-3 years before. 

Regarding him being rude, IDK much about that. People saying he was rude have been vague as to why they thought he was rude. It seemed usually the complaint was that he wouldn’t do autographs or stay and talk to people. I haven’t met him so IDK what he’s like but generally I’ve heard people say that he’s a nice guy. 

My own opinion is that there isn’t enough evidence to declare that he is rude or a predator. I really can’t say either way since I don’t know him and I don’t hang out in his circles. Ive really only ever heard that hes a nice guy

idk! i’ve heard from other people he’s pretty shy and seems kind of uncomfortable when fans talk to him. Like he doesn’t know how to act.

I guess onstage he can assume his “Borns” persona while in person he reverts to being “Garrett”
