Broncos/Packers game noticings and stories

-After the game, I went out to watch the players walk out of the tunnel. I saw at least 75% of the coaches and Broncos players which was super cool. Sylvester Williams walked out with his little boy, and when he turned his head he looked directly and my dad and I. I waved and the lil dude waved back. So precious. I also saw DT walk out with his family and mother, which was touching considering it was her first game of his.

-Nearly got run over by the Green Bay busses as they got a police escort out of the stadium and to the highway.

-Packers fans were EVERYWHERE. But they got super salty by the Broncos fast start and eventually shut up by halftime.

-The Pat Bowlen ceremony was very touching. It really was awesome seeing the 1997 Super Bowl team there and then some. Mike Shanahan was there, Dan Reeves was there, Steve Atwater was there, and so much more! Terrell Davis, Shanahan, Rod Smith and Shannon Sharpe got the loudest crowd cheers when they were introduced.

-I swear it’s the blue uniforms. Nothing but great things happen when those bad boys are worn. I really wish they’d wear them more often.

-The energy in the stadium was IN-FREAKING-SANE. The crowd never died down, I swear. You could tell the players were riding on that, the fact that they were underdogs, and the fact that Pat Bowlen was the man of the evening.

I’m sure I’m forgetting some things. If I remember, I’ll add them to here.

Indeed, we did look horrible. But we did look horrible against one of the best defenses in the league. And Peyton Manning. The Lions will not be a threat, neither will Chicago. Only AP and the Vikings could make some damage but we’ll see...
