It had been a week or two ever since the aliens had been stopped, and Wily was on edge- resources were low, and he had little money. Getting a job was out of the question, as he was a wanted criminal and even under-the-table jobs wouldn’t hire him.
Sure he had money from Christmas, but it wasn’t much- and he’d rather use it to get rations (despite how little Wily ate nowadays.)
As he thought about how he could possibly get new material, he recalled how a large section of the city had been destroyed from the aliens’ battle. Almost a quarter of the city, in fact, was roped off for rebuilding.
While most would see this as a death trap, Wily saw it as an opportunity- surely there were valuable things in the rubble, right?
Gathering up a few robots, he explained what he planned on doing on what he wanted them to do; help him take back resources to the castle.
