110% yes! we’ve joked so much about it on discord and while idk if we have a solid on if grian and phil can fly un-aided or if elytras are some kind of brace for their wings to make them actually able to fly i still think its a fun idea to imagine dream team panicing because someone with legit wings just Joined

I remember something we also joked about was that Phils skin has a mouth but Grians doesnt and Grian convincing Tommy that he traded his mouth for wings leading to him asking what the fuck Phil traded (plot twist, wilbur traded his mouth for phil to get wings)

I have played as far as I could in the Alpha version on steam a long while ago, but am now enjoying the full release on PS4. So uh what's floes origin story? In universe, if there is one. And were you ever planning a way for the barrier to get broken without any one getting dead? (Also you turned off anon how dare you betray me like this)

I somehow actually managed to make an explanation to fit Floe in the universe. It came to me so suddenly but I loved it, so here we go for Floe Science –

A lot of people have managed to guess it already. I just avoided answering or made some jokes to keep the answer from being spilled, but Floe really is Flowey… without Asriel.

Floe knows. Floe remembers. But Floe has no idea what’s going on. It’s just a flower. It knows how to talk, what words mean, but it doesn’t know how to make a sentence. It has emotions, but cannot handle them. It doesn’t have a personality. It’s just a flower that can talk.

Starting on page 3 of the Floe tag in chronological order is when I started inserting it in canon. At that time, Toriel wasn’t even home yet. That lil’ mysterious encounter I had was her finding Floe near Alphys’ lab.

Learning that the flower does not have a home or a family to come back to, Toriel, being the mother she is, decides to take it with her so maybe it can be good friends with her children. Alphys is unsure about it, suggesting that maybe it should stay in the lab for further inspection, but Toriel denies as she is against experimenting on a poor, defenseless little flower.

Breaking the barrier, though, that’s a tougher question. I did think about it, but I never came up with a good way for them to do that. And before that happens, there’s also a different stone in the way - Chara wouldn’t want to. They’d prefer to stay down there, in a familiar place with all the people they know, than face humanity again. It’d take lots of effort from Frisk to convince them. Only Frisk. Asriel knows maybe there is a better world out there, but the one he’s seen wasn’t pleasant at all.
