@iguana-braces said Jake chewing on his toothpick as usual. Bradley taking the toothpick out of Jake's mouth to kiss him, then putting it back. and my brain went, yes please. so here it is.

Jake is sitting on a barstool, chewing absent-mindedly on a toothpick as he watches Bradley lean over the pool table and make his shot decidedly. The 5 ball sinks into the left corner pocket smoothly, and he is treated to a cheeky grin and a wink when the other man straightens.

Jake chews on his toothpick a little harder.

Bradley fails to pocket the 6 ball, but he doesn't seem too bothered about it. He leans the cue against the wall and turns around, making his way to the bar.

When he's in front of Jake, Bradley slides between his legs and takes the toothpick out of his mouth. He pecks him sweetly and then puts the piece of wood back with a smirk. "Enjoying yourself, sweetheart?"

Jake very much is.

Don't mind this, please. I'm just venting through a poem I made ages ago

Squares

When I look up and all around I see people holding squares.

They can stack them however they like. Sometimes other people stack their squares for them, people they know. They shine beautifully.

Some are much taller than others. They have builders doing the work for them. People they do not know. They sit and watch the other people stacking their own towers. They laugh at how slow they stack their building blocks. They laugh at how small their towers are compared to their skyscraper.

Little building blocks, building stacks of towers. Like a city.

I pick up my own blocks. I can stack them however I want to. I can build however I want to.

In staircases or towers or little pillars. If I want I can make my own house. I can play and create.

I can pretend and make and build down and build up however I so please.

My head is full of ideas, but how can I possibly put them into the blocks in front of me?

I want to impress people with my ideas, but what if they don't like them?

I start to build a tower. Start off with foundations first. I can build that quickly.

I like the foundations of my tower! Look how fast I can work!

Now I build up and up and up, faster. People want to look at my work. I show them.

Then

You walk up to my tower. You take one look.

I am still building on it, still trying to make it tall.

You knock it down. Right from the bottom.

The foundations. They're falling.

I try to catch my blocks. You take them from my hands and rearrange my whole tower.

It's ugly. It's jagged. People look at my work.

I try to hide it from them. I'm trying to fix it.

They don't see any of the rearranging you made. I can't tell them you changed it all. If they knew they might

they might think less of my work

My blocks are chipped at the corners and scratched. They're dull.

Where is the shine that was there before? Why is it all chipped and scratched?

I want to tell someone. Anyone. But I can't. Something is tugging and pulling me from inside and it HURTS but I can't speak. I start to cry.

LOOK at what you've done to me. LOOK at the mess you made. My tower. You're decieving everyone. Everything I say is a lie.

I tell my friend.

And the blocks shine just a little.

I look up and around. See..

Some of those towers are jagged too. Not ugly, but rearranged. They are chipped and broken.

The people with those towers are still building. They have beautiful towers. I love them.

Maybe.

PSA

Listen up guys and dolls this is gonna be a long one.

We do not let the actions of other people define the way that we now move forward as the human race. Not as countries, not as races, not as gay or straight or any other definition and certainly not as man or women and or any other definition you may use. We stand together as humans of this planet and work towards healing the world without causing more harm then good. Life is to precious to be thrown away by someone who cannot control their own actions and feelings. No body has the right to take away a life of any living thing. My heart and hope goes out to anyone in London right now as these events unfold. I am in shock and completely saddened that someone thought they had a right to do this. I have friends currently in London who i am now waiting to hear from people someone decided to do this and as the death toll climbs while i write this. My heart sinks lower in my chest. Please every single person in this world stay safe, keep your loved ones close and stand together in this time of need.
