IDK if anyone following me plays Dominion, but if you do you might find this amusing. We’ve turned Sunday nights into game night, so we are teaching my 8 year old how to play Dominion. Right now we only have the base game (we may get the expansions at some point but the base game has so much repeat playability depending on the kingdom cards you use), and we have played with my son a total of five complete games. Of the three of us, he only placed last on the first game. We try not to tell him what to do aside from explaining what the cards do if he has a hard time understanding them. The second to last game he beat the unholy shit out of us. I’m still not entirely sure how he managed it because while the game was happening me and the hubby were both like, ok, dude, that’s not what i would do, but you do you. And he handed our asses to us when it was time to count up the victory points. I’m so proud of him! I want my son to outsmart me! I want him to kick my ass at a games! It makes me feel like i’m doing my job!

My 5 year old kiddo has not seen Good Omens, but they know it exists.

They just referred to it as "The show with the white fairy and the black fairy." 

They also came in just as I was finishing episode 6 and asked if the fairy people are getting married. Yes, they are, kiddo. Yes they are.

My daughter does not like the Mask. 😂🤣😂

Not because he scares her (that’s a lie) but because he is “super creepy and ugly”.

SO you know I called her out on that. “Beetlejuice is ugly too.”

Without moments thought she says, “yeah but he has charm.”

😮 My 7 year old! She said Beetle had charm! Where does she come up with these phrases????

We literally spent the entire movie with her bitching that she doesn’t like Mask and me calling her out on every criticism. She just keeps saying that Beetlejuice has charm and Mask would be better if he were “a little cuter”.

How did I make a mini me? My geek side does not show THAT much at home. Kai never hears me talk about my movie crushes.

I can’t wait to show her Drop Dead Fred

Edit: Ok... now my daughter thinks the Mask on the DOG was cute! That is adorable to her. That thing is terrifying. 🤯

Our differences in taste amaze me just as much as our similarities. This kid is great.

This bed is designed for one humanoid infant. Any baby placed in this bassinet will have no need for sleep, and can lay awake all night, never suffering fatigue penalties. Baby placed in the bassinet is also immune to sleep spells for one day.

Any adults within 60' must make a wisdom save DC equal to 20+ the Baby's charisma modifier or suffer one level of exhaustion, being unable to sleep that night. They are also unaffected by sleep spells for one day.
