Costume Name: Lady of Lórien and Light

Costume Description: An original design based on Galadriel and Lothlórien architecture from The Lord of the Rings, consisting of a dress of rose silk and cupro embroidered with sequins and crystals, a 3-D printed bodice, neck corset, and bracelet, a bejeweled ring, wire elf ears, and a recycled, handmade paper flower crown.

Bio: Kathryn Henzler is an award-winning designer and creator of theatrical costumes, cosplay, skating costumes, and geek couture. She has exhibited at conventions and art museums and is a three-time Her Universe Fashion Show contestant. In her day-to-day, she is also a Japanese-English translator, composer/musician/audio engineer, actress, activist, archer, and adult figure skater.

Captain Marvel dress update! After many scrapped pieces I finally have a bodice foundation that I like and a solid procedure for adding the detailing. I still have a lot of work to do before I have a final product that I’m 100% satisfied with, but I’m happy I’ve reached this point! Omg isn't @kayleighkill phenomenal as #Rey?! She used the Galactic Scavenger vest and sleeves for the look, and I'm just absolutely dead! She is stunning!!!
