Fuck, I'm worried I accidentally reported an image by mistake as sexually explicit. That was a mistake. I'm on my phone and I think my thumb well, with it it being accidentally touched that as I was looking around. Now I'm worried about pissing the person off and I forgot what the post was. I was just looking at cute stuff.
This type of stupid shit happens when typing fast on my phone. To the person who notices that, I'm sorry for doing that, that was a legit mistake. That was me being stupid.
I was thinking about this earlier how the City Hunter/Ghost was straight up going to let LA be destroyed by his self destruct device. There's just something so....UTTERLY INSANE ABOUT THAT. The fact if Harrigan wasn't able to cut his arm off just in time, LA would've been a nuke site basically.
The reason I was thinking about this earlier because I was agreeing with a tweet talking about how people seem to undermine how evil the Yautja really are. And me saying it's sometimes easy to forget from a human perspective or any other species. What the Yautja do is REALLY FUCKED UP. Including the fact they are self aware.
And I feel this moment (Along with the fact of how wild Ghost was acting in the film) is one of those examples of just again, UTTERLY INSANE this is. Like, imagine if Harrigan wasn't able to stop it. How would the country react or the whole world?
Also, keep in mind that the Yautja are so Hell bent on not wanting to expose themselves to other species. And not wanting their tech to fall into the hands of others. Again, the fact Ghost was willing to do this instead of...it's almost stupid. There's also the fact the Lost Tribe's ship is hidden below those buildings.
I think back to the expanded material if you want to take that seriously. The Lost Tribe was watching Ghost throughout his hunt. There was a moment they were thinking about killing him because he was getting out of control. Or more so they were gonna send "Warrior" to bring him back. Just imagine if they learned he was straight up going to destroy a crap ton of LA.
Good lord, I could be wrong. But I feel like this would piss off many elders back on Yautja Prime if this actually happened.
Pictured here, Greyback and the Warrior watching Ghost acting so carelessly in his hunt:
It's so interesting Black Ops 6 introduced a character that was literally a straight up super soldier and his backstory. And they don't bother trying to explain more about him and other crap.
I'm talking about Case.
And I just found out right now that in the Black Ops 7 story. They found his remains...just wow.
At least Bell had a conclusion in Cold War but....the case with...Case...it's weird. And they don't do any more with this after the main story.
It says a lot to me that in Predator Badlands, Dek is literally considered a "Defect" among his race, has a dad that doesn't support him, a brother that accepts/loves him despite his shortcomings and develops a relationship with an android that also treats him like a person and becomes close with/genuinely caring about him. Whether you see his relationship with Thia as romantic or a brother/sister type relationship. But a person that helps him despite his shortcomings too. And changes his perspective on things along with accepting him.
As an Autistic person.....it's strange I got this from a Predator film. But man, that is honestly powerful.Just my viewpoint of it when....comparing myself to Dek. It's silly, but dang.
A part of me wants to make a Yautja that's essentially a Bad Blood. Maybe not as an over the top kind of Bad Blood. But the kind who maybe draws a line. Yet you can tell he's like, "This guy....likes doing what he does".
Or honestly the original idea of a Yautja who clearly knows what he does, is the embodiment of "Chaotic Neutral" to where clan leaders are like, "Okay, he hasn't broken any rules. BUT HE'S CLOSE."
It's a bit tricky. Because it's mainly just me wanting to make my own take of Yautja like Diablo AKA Jungle Hunter or City Hunter.
You know what I like about Diablo's design in the original Predator? The Jungle Hunter, that's who I'm talking about. I've been thinking of making this silly post and you...thirsty Yautja lovers may like this.
There's this one aspect I love about Diablo's design.
It's the fact HE HAS HAIR. Like BODY HAIR.
Sorry to use statues but they are meant to be very detailed and accurate to his look. But I'm being legit. Like, and this is something I've noticed with maybe almost every Predator after Diablo. That none of them have body hair. And I only noticed this years ago that Diablo has like a big chunk of it on his back.
Sorry to use the McFarlane figure as a reference. But I've noticed that for years and it stuck with me. Like, the idea this dude has chest and back hair. And the others feel like...I shouldn't say naked. Should I call it body hair?
Like...we don't know Diablo's age. I assume he's an Elite and he's been around for a long while. If he was human, I envision him being a 50-year-old who's been hunting in Central America for years. Like, that kind of age range near Dutch's team. Even though Dutch is 39 during the film but still.
This is such a silly aspect I wanted to talk about. Because I have this silly post I put in my drafts concerning my own Predator/Yautja. But it's some spoilerish stuff. Yet the idea Diablo has body hair like...this dude is MANLY. This is strangely something I want on more Predators/Yautja.
Wait, maybe I should count Greyback because they essentially used Diablo's design. Fuck, I sadly don't think so. Or a little, it's hard to see. And I don't want to use figures as a reference because those are usually reused molds. But trust me, Diablo is a harry dude.
Anyway, hope you people who are thirsty may like this detail. Unless you already knew about. You folks will likely laugh at this post or find it confusing. But seriously, it's something I wanted to speak about. It's not a huge detail. Or maybe it is.
I just realized I was posting mostly positive opinions on a "Unpopular opinion" thread on the Predator franchise. My bad, I just wanted to say my own stuff. I was in the moment I guess gushing about a franchise I love.
Here's the retweets I deleted. I was gonna do Naru until I realized, "Wait, I have to be negative. I've been fucking this up." Here's my opinions on the characters in the first five films.
I honestly would've gushed about Dek, Thia, and others. But I would've called Njohrr a bum who I know for a fact Greyback and the elder would've kicked his ass.
Edit update I think on the first one when I said "I find it a bummer." because I was gonna mention that it's a bummer he's not called El Diablo on the merch or that in the fandom a lot.
