Second prompt - Jekyll and Hyde - completed! Next one will be Radiance. Siyrai struggles to deal with a dead past and Aríaen is a grumpy fairy who Atra tries desperately to cheer up and/or get to chill.

Along with meeting my fellow Tumblr / Gundam buddy Tucker at Geekkon, I got to meet a part of my childhood. I had the honor of meeting a voice actor named Brad Swaile: The voice of Nightcrawler in X-Men Evolution, Light Yagami in Death Note, Quatre in Gundam Wing, Amuro Ray in Mobile Suit Gundam, and of course, Setsuna F Seiei in Gundam 00.

He was one of a few guests, and hosted a guest screening of two select episodes of Gundam Wing, which he played Quatre. At the end of that panel, we got to hear his iconic Light Yagami laugh from Death Note. It gave me goosebumps. It was great.

I took a small water break and as i was throwing my cup away, he pointed me out by my Setsuna attire and said “That is an awesome cosplay.” To hear that from a guy that you’ve heard in shows you watched as a kid, and the voice of one of your all-time favorite characters in any show ever is one of the best feelings you can get, and it’s something you don’t ever forget.

Me and a couple fellow Gundam fans were chatting with him, talking about Gundam, discussing some of his favorite lines, Taking pictures with him, and getting his autograph of course. I am very fortunate and honored that he signed my DVD Boxset of Gundam 00 Season 2. Plus, he recited some of his favorite Setsuna lines, which included the best one of them all: “I AM GUNDAM.”

Meeting Brad Swaile was an absolutely extraordinary experience for me, and one that rarely occurs in a lifetime. This, along with finally meeting Tucker in person, the numerous lol-worthy panels i attended, the enjoyable sitting of Cards Against Humanity I had, the creative and unique Cosplayers I met, and the overall atmosphere made Geekkon an absolute blast for me, and i will definitely do this again next year.
