Fan Fiction #68 Cosima x Delphine

Quickly, I must seize this rare moment of not being tired or busy after work to write about gay. I definitely have my priorities straight. 

(If You’re) Going My Way by @geekmonkeyramblings summary: “ Great things (and people) can turn up in unexpected places - like, for example, on the side of the road, holding a sign that reads "San Fran or Bust." Delphine is not at all the type to give a stranger a ride, but there's something about Cosima that she just can't resist. What are the odds that a random hitchhiker could have such a profound effect on her life in a single day?”

My thoughts: Here’s a nice one-shot about Delphine taking an unexpected leap into something glorious. 

Delphine is on her way to help her friend with a wedding when she sees a stranger alongside the road. For some reason or other, Delphine decides to pick up the hitchhiker. The rest of the trip is full of small leaps into things she usually wouldn’t find herself doing, but Cosima just seems to bring that out of her. 

It spans throughout a day. Just a single day, the time it takes them to reach San Francisco, for Delphine and Cosima to develop a connection so strong they can’t ignore it.

1. Which Hogwarts house do you best identify with? And which Great House?

Ravenclaw!  As for the Great House, I haven't watched GoT but I've taken quizzes and got House Stark.

2. If you could listen to nothing but one film score on repeat for the rest of your life, which would it be?

Damn, that's...extremely difficult.  Might as well be a badass, motivating song for my lazy bum: "He's A Pirate" - Pirates of Caribbean.

3. Which fictional character do you relate to the most? And which would you switch places with, given the chance?

I relate a lot to Jay Gatsby, mostly because of his love for Daisy and his ambitions for the future.  I'm not entirely ambitious but I do thrive to become a better person at every opportunity.  Like Gatsby, I easily get entangled in issues and emotional conflicts when it comes to love.

I would love to switch places with Delphine for a life with the hot, dorky, geeky, cheeky, nerd of a girlfriend Cosima Niehaus and that lovely accomplishment of a doctorate degree.  (But maybe in an AU...where there's no DYAD, scary authorities, and dying-girlfriend.)

4. What’s the most embarrassing thing you did this month?

Being myself. I can't think of anything specific at the moment but I'm sure I was quite embarrassing geeking out at Anime Expo lol

5. What’s your favorite animated series? 

Puella Magi Madoka Magica ／人◕ ‿‿ ◕人＼

6. If you could demand that any one piece of fan-fiction be selected for a movie adaptation, which one would it be?

I'm in so many fandoms and I have a favorite in each one...but since this is an OB-centric blog, definitely Kat's (geekmonkeyramblings) (If You're) Going My Way :) 

7. Do you have any recent obsessions? And, if so, what are they?

TANK TOPS (Although I can't wear most of them, yet, because of stupid scars on my arms.)  And ever since I got into this fandom, AU prompts...

8. If you could travel to any fictional universe, which would it be, and what would your life be like while there? 

Once Upon A Time (*u* )  I'll be traveling back and forth between the fairy-tale and modern worlds, minding my own business and play-match making with all the characters.

9. Name two of your biggest pet peeves, and two traits that you find endearing: 

When stuff are not well taken care of, ESPECIALLY IF THEY'RE BOOKS, DVDS, CDS, GAMES, and any of the like.  I'm that sort of person who would stay in a store for a very long time just to pick out the "best" copy.  Another pet peeve would be narrow-minded people.

Endearing traits... I really like it when someone remembers small details or is just really genuine in nature.

10. What’s one item that you’ve had in your possession for over ten years? Does it have any significance?

My Pikachu plushie.  She's 12 years old now lol  My whole family and best friends know about her, and my mom and sis are used to the fact that she's basically part of the family.  (Sort of like a pet.)

11. If you could ask the universe one single question, and it would give you a truthful answer, what would you want to know?  "What other entities lies beyond the ones on Earth?"
