It’s funny cuz back when my url was “clones-and-thrones” several people messaged me and said, “I totally thought your blog was gonna be about Game of Thrones and Star Wars because of the clones part.” But it was about Orphan Black and GoT.
If I had kept the name, now it WOULD be in reference to Star Wars as well as OB. xD (I mean I’ve always been a fan but new content tends to revive an interest, ya know?)
Yes I’m still a Carmilla/Orphan Black/Game of Thrones/everything else I love blog. Not to fret! I’m just totes in love with the JJ comics and her character and can’t wait for the show!

The Ishtar/Dean stuff is so cool. But then I realized that Ishtar is actually the Akkadian goddess. Her Sumerian counterpart is Inanna but the myths are hella similar and the names of the other characters are too hahaha. And the Sumerians and Akkadians shared a kind of cultural symbiosis anyway so. :)
Yeah, I’ve just been using Ishtar because she’s directly mentioned in the show. I look at it kind of like Greek and Roman gods. Different name, same basic concept. Certain attributes and stories are different, but it’s the same mythological family, so to speak.
