Jean’s fav color being brown in part because it’s Jeremy’s eye color is insane work. Truly a simple cliche type deal but when you consider the list he made of other reasons, he is listing off things he finds beautiful. Things that make him feel alive. Open roads, for freedom. The coast, which showed him just how big the world was outside the nest. Dirt in the garden, where things could grow. Where every spring, even after the dead of winter, the earth comes back to life. The gaze that sought him out in every room, because he’d always wanted someone to see him, and finally, he has that.

Which means, not only does he find Jeremy beautiful, but he makes Jean feel alive <3
