Hey guys.

This started to grow very long but it’s basically an update on what’s going on and what the hell happened and pretty much why I disappeared (again) out of the blue, so tl;dr:

- I wasn’t on hiatus, and I’m not planning on going hiatus. - To all my commissioners, I’m very sorry for not meeting my deadlines.  ))): Please read more about this below. - I will close commissions for now, read more down below. - I finally got a day job that I enjoy! - I hope to be more active on this blog again.  D:

It’s pretty clear that I’ve been inactive for the past few months, which renders my blog very stagnant and jeopardizes my commission requests.  And I am so so very sorry! :(  I suddenly got an actual life.  I mean, I’m finally working at a studio that I’m actually enjoying and I got another freelance job and it’s all great!--it’s just that I can’t totally promise a lot of my time on commissions as I thought I could give, because I am both training and working for the day job and will be terribly busy catching up to deadlines for the freelance, plus the never-ending issue with our need to move out.

But what does this mean?  I’m not announcing a hiatus.  I’ve actually just been stalling any fan art because I was stressed with how commissions and freelance piled up a couple of months ago (I realize it’s not an excuse, but I was mentally weak and irresponsible OTL).  Yeah, it was and still is a terrible reason.  But I think things are looking better because of my new job, and I’d want to divert my attention--so I hope I’ll be back to making more art.

As for my commissioners... I really have nothing much to say except that I’m really sorry.  I know you’ve been waiting longer than what we agreed upon.  I cannot blame you if you’ll be angry at me, and if you’d want to discontinue.  For those who have paid, however, I will deliver what’s due.

It was my mistake to take on such a task that I thought I was absolutely ready for.  Which is why I’ll be closing commissions for now and renewing my commissions page when I’ve finished whatever I need to finish and when I believe that I am fully prepared to take up the responsibility again.

I am also sorry if this post sounds like I’m whining, but I hope to piece everything back together... because I honestly miss being on here and sharing my art.

Maybe it’s too much to ask especially at this point, but I hope you’ll understand.

Hiya. Uhh... I know we don't talk a lot but... I just wanted to extend a really warm and tight hug to you. We're all really devastated by this news, and to think we lost two extremely brilliant men... so you know... tight and warm hugs, Suzie.

We don’t have to talk a bunch to reach out in times like this, and it means so much that you did this. *hugs you back extra tight* Thanks, sweetheart. 

God, two amazing men, both a legend in their field, both giving us such gifts with what they created… 

It’s a rough week, that’s for sure. Here’s to hoping the rest of the year will be better…

Belated Merry Christmas!!

Another update from this old man bum! AND THE NEW YEAR'S COMING UP I've just started trying my hand out with drawing cuz they started hurting some time before the Christmas break. I didn't wanna push it cuz I was afraid of carpal tunnel (my God the pain was freaky I couldn't do things normally... even typing on the phone stung). So guys please take care of your hands and wrists and arms. The experience is nasty. They're slowly feeling better now so I can probably go back to working on stuff very soon! Again, I am really sorry for the delay... I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Regarding my commissions

I know I said I’ll change my rates, but since it’s the Christmas season, I’m letting it linger a little bit more til January--so by then, I would have closed it around New Year’s.

That being said, my rates have not changed and there are still slots open!!!

Hey guys!  It’s been a long time since I last updated ever, and I’m so sorry for my sudden hiatus.  I’ve been trying to land a job while dealin’ with an art rut for a while, that I ended up just queuing stuff up the blog (sobs).  So to help myself recover from the depressing lack of art productivity, I’ve decided to come back and enter the fray again!  I’ve also moved out with a bunch’a friends and freelancing isn’t enough to help with the bills.  That, and I’m running out of socks fast.

That’s right.  You can never have enough socks.
