I’ve been in Geldern yesterday! There, the Tolkien Days take place and it‘s just an hour away from where I live, but somehow I never really had the chance to go. And it was incredible!

There were so many amazing cosplays, the atmosphere was very relaxed and fun and the place was decorated just lovely.

Sadly, the re-enacting of the battle in Helms Deep did not take place, because it rained a lot suddenly and it was too dangerous for the horses.

But my personal highlight was that every single cup had a statement for diversity and Pride. It felt like a beacon of hope in a world that has become so hostile again.
