I just decided these two are a couple today. Gelibol makes drinks and Colada is named after a drink so obviously they had to be boyfriends.

Gelibol and Cinnyris for the ask game?

yesss the ridgeboys... Gelibol and Cinnyris!

They’re on good terms! They probably wouldn’t say they’re friends, but Cinnyris stops into Gelibol’s tavern for a drink from time to time, plus if there’s anyone who has some insight for news leads it’s probably the guy behind the bar haha.

Gelibol appreciates Cinnyris’s work for Florabrisa’s newspaper! He’s happy to help out with reports Cinnyris is working on, or at the very least point him in a different direction if needed. Gelibol likes to read Cinnyris’s paper in his free time. Gelibol in general does a likes keeping up with the affairs of the lair, so having an official paper makes that a lot easier for him. And it’s fun to compare what Cinnyris writes to what he hears from his customers in the tavern haha

Also omggg despite both being Ridgebacks, they have an immense size difference. Cinnyris is the biggest dragon in Florabrisa and Gelibol is about the size of a medium-big gaoler...which is quite small by ridgeback standards dsdgsfd I think Gelibol would feel a tad self conscious in Cinnyris’s presence. Especially since Gelibol often is still the biggest dragon in a room, so Cinnyris being almost double his size sure humbles him fgsdfg Cinnyris is just. so big omg. Cinnyris would be find Gelibol’s tininess kind of cute, but he wouldn’t really think too much about it? Everyone’s smaller than him, that’s just his life fdsfads

16. Who’s in charge of maintaining law and order? Any dragons that take up the mantle of policing?

In general I think of Florabrisa as more-or-less a self-policing community! There’s not like strict laws to adhere too but my clan’s leaders do their best to make sure no one’s causing serious trouble! Though there is someone who’s taken up the mantle anyway.

Gelibol! Because of a silly joke that doesn’t make sense to anyone but me He runs my lair’s tavern which has a tiny jail cell..that mostly ends up used by dragons who’ve had a bit too much to drink and aren’t getting back to their rooms dfasd but Gel definitely isn’t afraid to threaten anyone who’s being to rowdy in his opinion. Working behind a bar, I’m sure he’s seen a lot omg

He absolutely calls himself the Sheriff and everyone just kinda lets him haha

33. Do you have a dragonsona?

I do but they aren’t on Flight rising

Lavendel! They’re my birthday dragon and also purple which is my fave color c: I recently gave them glasses since I needed more dragons with glasses and I liked that it made them match me too haha… They’re not really a self-insert but I’ve based them a smidge off myself! Mostly my love of singing haha

41. Who has the most tragic backstory?

Oh man… who doesn’t have a tragic backstory around here haha,,,,

But the most tragic? Geez gonna have to think. (note: i did spend a LONG time thinking. I even wrote out all my dragons with tragic stories just so I could compare sdafdasf) SO I’m gonna go with…

Tarragon! the OG. (honestly Palatine’s story is more tragic but I also just talked about them not long ago so) I don’t think I’ve elaborated a ton on Tarragon’s origins so here we go!

Tarragon was hatched in the Wind flight, as evidenced by his eyes! He is a very windy boy. But Wind just didn’t suit his parents, so they uprooted themselves and moved to the Tangled Wood before Tarragon was old enough to even form anything but the vaguest memories of life in the Plateau.

Growing up, it was very clear Tarragon didn’t fit into Shadow at all. His parents and eventual younger brothers thrived, but Tarragon struggled to make friends and was considered weirdly naive and slow. He was too trusting and oblivious to be living in shadow, and among his peers garnered a reputation of being a good go-to dragon to test out pranks and trickery on since he never seemed to get upset and was always willing to give second chances (Except for the dragon who made Tarragon do the cinnamon challenge. That was never forgiven.) And Tarragon was a dragon who thrived in sunlight and there isn’t much of that in the Tangled Wood. He always had a natural connection to flowers but the Woods didn’t given him a ton to work with. He ultimately was that weird kid who went off to play with mushrooms by himself.

And his parents never supported him. They very blatantly favored his shadow-born younger siblings (I mean can you imagine being named Tarragon then five years later your parents name your new brother Paragon adfdsaf) and Tarragon was constantly guilt-tripped by them for not meeting expectations or being as smart and worldly as shadow dragons should be and they always made him work for things that they had no problem just handing out to his siblings. Tarragon of course always felt a longing to return to Wind, but his parents had made him feel like such a failure that he didn’t believe he’d be able to make it on his own and that he was lucky to at least have a house and family. Thankfully Paragon, as much of an entitled brat as he is, always did secretly believe in and support Tarragon and facilitated Tarragon’s pilgrimage to his hatch flight! Tarragon has no plans to ever go back to Shadow and see his family again. Of course, Tarragon being Tarragon did still try to write to them from time to time…but never received any response. Probably for the best.
